Song for Gaza

Some of you may have heard about this song written and performed by Michael Heart. It seems that the song get famous after frequently aired through TV. Well, I don’t watch TV very often, so no wonder if I didn’t notice the presence of it. The first time I know it was a couple days ago when a friend tell me about. However, I think I’m not the only person who didn’t notice of this song, so it is worth trying to share it.

You can download the song for free from Michael Heart’s website here (no resume capability provided):

Brief info about Michael Heart, he’s been working with many famous artists as a guitarist and/or recording engineer. Looking on his Myspace Profile, we’ll find that he’s connected to many popular singers or band groups such as Sting, The Police, Nickelback etc. More details on his biography can be viewed on his website.

The ruthless aggression, perpetrated by Israel has struck concerns of many including musicians like Heart. I was shivered when listening to the song, especially when following the lyric and imagining the real situation in Gaza where planes and tanks pouring fires on Palestinian ground, causing hundreds of innocent people killed for no reason. What a tragedy!

In a deep sympathy for the violated humanity,

“You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools, but our spirit will never die” –We will not go down, Michael Heart, 2009.
